李炳照老师在线性正则变换的理论研究方面取得新进展

  最近,数学学院李炳照老师“信号处理中的数学方法”课题组在线性正则变换基本理论及其应用方面取得新进展。他们把基于正交分解的时频分析理论进一步扩展到了基于非正交分解的线性正则变换域时频分析理论,取得了创新性成果。课题组的一系列文章发表于《Journal of The Franklin Institute-Engineering and Applied Mathematics》(2012, 349: 3185-3193, SCI 检索二区)及《Signal Processing》(2012,92:1658-1664, SCI 检索三区)等国际重要应用数学及交叉学科类期刊。

  信号的非平稳、精细特性分析与处理已成为应用数学领域及信息处理领域亟待解决的重要问题,也是新兴交叉学科的研究热点之一。以分数阶Fourier变换、线性正则变换及分数阶微积分为代表的分数域信号处理方法是解决上述问题的重要工具之一。国际学术界对于分数阶Fourier变换的基本理论及应用开展了广泛而深入的研究,但是对于线性正则变换域的非正交时频分析理论研究较少。

  针对线性正则变换域时频分析理论问题,李炳照课题组提出了线性正则变换域广义Wigner-Ville分布、模糊函数等非正交时频分布理论,通过将自相关函数映射到时域-分数傅里叶域联合平面,得到了非正交时频边缘特性、与经典时频分布的关系及其逆变换公式;提出了线性正则变换域的瞬时频率估计方法,发现了非正交时频域的信号能量聚集特性,据此可以增强经典时频分布的精细特征提取能力,并针对实际应用需求研究了他们的离散算法,为有效提升时频分辨率提供了新的理论工具。
